Margaret River chardonnay has a richness that is undeniable. This wine has rich aromas of stone fruit and pear abound, with a nicely balanced palate full of flavour. The barrel fermentation always gives the wine a generous textural component in the mouth that adds length and an impression of vanilla.
After machine picking, this wine was made in a very traditional way with 100% barrel fermentation in new French oak barriques from the Alliers and Vosges forrests. After a year on yeast lees post fermentation the wine is racked, filtered and bottled.
